How does the 3-tier trust badge work?
Every listing shows a trust badge based on the seller's affiliation to you. YOUR CLUB means the seller is in your exact club (highest trust). YOUR ORGANIZATION means the same organization family but a different club. When it is neither, the badge shows the seller's actual organization and club so you can decide. The badge is computed automatically from the seller's verified memberships. It is not something the seller can fake or set.
How do I become a seller, and what can I sell?
Open the app, tap Sell in the marketplace tab, and submit a seller application. You need to be a verified member with at least 100 Tribo Points, OR a Tribo Premium member. Once approved, you can start listing. You can sell most personal items, community-appropriate services, and second-hand goods. You cannot sell weapons, alcohol without a license, illegal items, or anything that violates community standards. Listings are reviewed and can be taken down if they break the rules.
What if something goes wrong with a purchase?
Buyers and sellers arrange the meet-up and transaction directly, so first try to resolve the issue between yourselves in Dapitan chat. If that does not work, tap the report button on the listing or the seller's profile. Tribo reviews every report; sellers who break the rules can have their listings removed, their seller status suspended, or their account disabled. A ratings system tracks each seller's reputation, and buyers can leave a review after a completed transaction.
How does pricing and payment work?
Sellers set their own prices in Philippine pesos. Payment happens directly between buyer and seller at the meet-up, so cash, GCash, bank transfer, or whatever the two of you agree on. Tribo does not process in-app payment for peer-to-peer marketplace items and does not take a cut of your sale. The marketplace is a discovery and trust layer, not a payment processor.
How many listings can I have? Free vs Premium.
Free members can have up to 5 active listings at a time, at no cost. Tribo Premium members get 10 free active slots. Beyond that, Premium members can post extra listings by burning 20 Tribo Points per slot; free members are prompted to upgrade to Premium instead. There is a hard ceiling of 20 active listings per seller. A sold or removed listing frees up a slot immediately, so you never have to wait for a monthly reset. Listings auto-expire after 14 days and can be renewed.
